Defense Minister: Iran to Enter Any New War ‘Far More Technologically Advanced’

ALWAGHT- Iran’s acting defense minister says the country would possess significantly greater technological capabilities in any future conflict, while dismissing recurring US threats as having no meaningful operational impact.

Iran’s acting defense minister, Brigadier General Majid Ibn al-Reza, dismissed repeated US threats, saying they cannot intimidate Tehran or alter its policies. He described such rhetoric as political messaging without meaningful military credibility.

He said continued threats reflect failures in US intelligence and strategic assessments, while arguing that Washington and Tel Aviv’s regional policies have produced their own setbacks. He also stressed that Iran does not seek to threaten neighboring countries.

Ibn al-Reza said Iran has revealed only part of its defense capabilities and continues to expand its technological and military strength. He described the country as stronger, more united, and more prepared than before, with its defense industry drawing on battlefield experience.

The remarks came amid renewed tensions following the US-Israeli conflict with Iran and subsequent military confrontations. The acting defense minister said Tehran remains prepared to counter threats using its domestic capabilities and independent strategies.
