ALWAGHT- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says two oil tankers operated under US control struck mines and were disabled in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the IRGC Public Relations Office, the two tankers were hit after allegedly attempting to navigate through a route that had not been authorized, rather than using the designated safe corridor in the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC said both vessels subsequently caught fire and remain ablaze.
