ALWAGHT- Four members of the IRGC Quds Force tasked with protecting Arbaeen pilgrims in Iraq were martyred in US airstrikes overnight in Diyala Province.
Four members of the IRGC Quds Force who lost their lives in the overnight US-Saudi strikes in Iraq were natives of Kashan in Iran's central Isfahan Province.
The servicemen were martyred during the attacks carried out in the holy city of Karbala, according to Iranian officials. They had been deployed to help ensure the safety and security of Arbaeen pilgrims traveling and gathering in Iraq.
