ALWAGHT- Iran's oil exports have continued without disruption despite the United States revoking a 60-day sanctions waiver, with Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad saying existing mechanisms have mitigated the impact of the move.
Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad said the country's oil exports are continuing without disruption despite the United States revoking a 60-day sanctions waiver, adding that long-standing measures have minimized the impact of US sanctions.
Paknejad said the Petroleum Ministry has spent years developing mechanisms to counter the effects of American sanctions and maintained those measures even after the temporary waiver was granted.
He also accused Washington of failing to honor its commitments, saying the US violated Article 10 of the memorandum of understanding governing the 60-day sanctions waiver.
