Large crowds assembled at Tehran's Grand Mosalla carrying banners and chanting slogans, while extensive security measures were put in place across the city. The funeral procession will continue through Tehran before moving to Qom, Iraq's Shia holy cities, and concluding with burial in Mashhad.

Senior Iranian officials attended the ceremonies alongside numerous foreign dignitaries and delegations from regional and international countries, including Pakistan, Russia, Iraq, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and representatives of several international organizations.
