Security Chief Says the West Has No Standing to Comment on Iran’s Missile Capabilities

ALWAGHT- According to Iran’s senior security official, the West is using Iran’s missile program as leverage and has no right to comment on it.

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani said that Western criticism of Iran’s missile program is not based on genuine security concerns but is a tool to exert pressure and limit the country’s defensive capabilities. He stressed that no foreign power has the right to interfere in Iran’s military matters, and described attempts to link missile capabilities with nuclear negotiations as a pretext for dominance and control.

Larijani highlighted Iran’s longstanding stance on independence, noting that the country is neither seeking to dominate others nor submitting to external powers. He criticized Western policies for undermining Iran’s political, cultural, and economic sovereignty, while pointing out Iran’s increasing cooperation with Eastern, Muslim, and neighboring countries since the Islamic Revolution.

Emphasizing national unity as Iran’s greatest asset, Larijani warned against attempts to weaken public resolve and reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to independence and dignity. He asserted that Iran will continue to defend its sovereignty and stand firm even in the face of confrontation, describing the country’s resilience as proof of its rational and determined response to external pressure.
