ALWAGHT- According to President Masoud Pezeshkian, Iran considers the diplomatic window still open and intends to utilize all its political capabilities to pursue this course.
President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized Iran’s commitment to diplomacy and constructive engagement, opposing war while defending the country’s natural rights. He stressed that Iran seeks to remove the shadow of war through all political and diplomatic means and that the nation’s goal has always been to promote lasting peace globally. Despite this, Pezeshkian warned that while Iranians desire peace, they are not submissive and will stand firm in defending justice and human dignity.
Pezeshkian criticized the recent Israeli and US aggression against Iran, highlighting that the attacks occurred during ongoing negotiations with the United States aimed at clarifying Iran’s peaceful nuclear intentions. He condemned the Israeli regime’s interference, which led to the killing of Iranian military commanders, scientists, and civilians. Iran’s response during the 12-day imposed war was, he said, in line with international law, and the Iranian Armed Forces delivered a decisive blow to their adversaries under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei.
Following the unprovoked Israeli aggression in June, Iran launched retaliatory strikes against key Israeli targets, successfully halting the illegal assault. Pezeshkian warned enemies against miscalculating Iran’s defensive capabilities, affirming that any future invasion would be met with even stronger retaliation. The president expressed hope that peace efforts would prevail but underscored Iran’s readiness to defend itself firmly if provoked.
