ALWAGHT- Israeli forces have escalated their violent raids across multiple areas of the West Bank, as the occupying regime continues its aggressive campaign in the region alongside the ongoing assault on Gaza.
Two Palestinian youths were injured by Israeli forces east of Ariha on Saturday—one by live gunfire, the other from a physical assault. Israeli troops also set up a checkpoint in the area, reportedly firing at civilians and attacking others. In a separate incident, Israeli settlers stormed Deir Dibwan near Ramallah, injuring several Palestinians during confrontations.
Further settler violence was reported between Ni’lin and Qibya, where Palestinians were assaulted and their farmland vandalized. The head of Ni’lin’s municipality said settlers released livestock into fields and destroyed crops. In Sa’ir, near al-Khalil, armed settlers attacked Palestinian farmers, with Israeli forces detaining one local trying to protect them.
These events reflect a growing pattern of coordinated settler attacks in the West Bank, often carried out under the protection of Israeli forces. Since October 7, 2023, violence has sharply intensified, with around 1,000 Palestinians killed in the West Bank and over 54,000 dead in Gaza, most of them women and children, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
