Alwaght- The Yemeni army and popular committees launched Zelzal rocket onto a Saudi military site in Najran and stormed Mesyal border position, killing a number of Saudi regime troops.
The Yemeni forces shot dead a Saudi soldier and bombed two military vehicle in the Kingdom’s Asir and Najran provinces, a military official told Saba on Wednesday.
The soldier was killed in al-Makhruqa military site and gatherings of Saudi troops were hit in military sites of Akafah camp, al-Hamadah, al-Shurfah and Nahiqah in Najran province.
Moreover, the Yemeni army bombed two military vehicle in Raqabat Nashmah military site in al-Rabu’eh area of Asir province, the official said. Meanwhile, the artillery of the army and popular forces shelled also other gathering of troops in military sites of al-Kars, al-Sudanih and al-Matan in Jizan province, the official added.
For two years now, Yemen has borne the brunt of a brutal Saudi-led and US-backed aggression which has left over 12,000 Yemenis, mostly civilians including women and children killed. According to The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), over 1,400 children have been killed in the ongoing deadly Saudi war on Yemen. The Saudi regime launched its illegal aggression on Yemen to undermine the Ansarullah movement and restore to power fugitive Abdul Rabuh Mansour Hadi who resigned and fled the country.
The Saudi military aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, mosques and factories. This illegal aggression has prompted retaliation from Yemeni forces including launching missile attacks on Saudi military installations in the country’s capital Riyadh.
