Alwaght- Chancellor of the Saudi defense minister's office, a spokesman for the "Decisive Storm" Brigadier General Ahmad Bin Hassan Asiri said that supporters of the Ansarullah Movement are planning a military operation on the Saudi-Yemeni borders.
Back on Saturday, Asiri claimed that Ansarullah Movement is preparing for an operation on the Saudi-Yemeni border, pointing out that the Yemeni army is moving military equipment from the city of Sana'a to the north toward the province of Saada.
On several occasions Saudi troops shelled several Yemeni positions with heavy artillery as it did on Monday 13 April 2015, from Jazan Province following intelligence that Ansarullah Movement were intending to move towards the border. Morover, recently the Saudi troops bombarded border areas such as Malaheet, Matrah and Al Ghour and fired a number of rockets sporadically toward the province of Saada.
During the past few days, Saudi has intensified its airstrikes against the Yemeni people, amid supporting "al-Qaeda" terrorist group, with ammunition and armor.
Ansarullah movement captured weapons were supposed to be delivered by Saudi aircrafts in support to al-Qaeda and militias affiliated to Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi; whilst the Yemeni army and popular committees continue their progress towards Al Mahfid after securing Ahwar road in the province of Abyan, and the last bastions of terrorist groups in the Kawfal region in Marib.
According to the United Nations, the conflict in Yemen escalated significantly last month, spreading to several parts of Yemen. Air strikes have now affected 18 of Yemen’s 22 governorates. And in the south, conflict has continued to intensify, particularly in Aden, where widespread fighting continues, including residential neighborhoods. Hospitals, schools, airports and mosques have been damaged and destroyed across the country and there are reports of serious violations of human rights and International Humanitarian Law. The conflict is taking a significant toll on civilians: around 3000 people were killed and thousands injured, including a large number of civilians. The number of people facing food insecure people has reached 12 million; at least 150,000 people have been displaced. Moreover, the Saudi-led coalition has imposed restrictions on fly zone and ports, preventing humanitarian supplies from making it into the country.
This devastating situation is caused by the Saudi-led coalition airstrikes, so the least right the Yemenis have is defending their homeland.
The Saudi regime tries to label Ansarullah Movement as the aggressor, whereas their presence on the Saudi-Yemeni borders is for the sake of defending their homeland. Saudi regime claims that Ansarullah aims at conquering Mecca and Medina, Muslims holy cities in Saudi Arabia, to paint Ansarullah movement as the source of threat in the region to justify its aggression on the name of defending Islam. But despite Saudis' accusations, Ansarullah has not launched any ground attack on Saudi even when their homeland was invaded by Saudi aggressors, saying that they are following the policy of “strategic patience”.
