Alwaght- Israeli security forces have arrested more than 527 Palestinians during the month of November, a recent report showed.
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society says 120 of these people were minors arrested by Tel Aviv security forces.
Based on report released on Saturday, around 7,000 Palestinians are currently being held in Israeli prisons, 700 of whom are in administrative detention.
Under the inhuman detention system, Israeli regime jails Palestinians without trial or charge for periods of up to six months which can be renewed an infinite number of times.
Some Palestinian prisoners have been held in administrative detention for up to 11 years.
The detainees have continuously resorted to open-ended hunger strikes in an attempt to voice outrage at their imprisonment without trial or charge as well as their prison conditions.
The occupied territories have been the scene of increased tensions ever since Israeli forces imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in August 2015. Over 260 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of October 2015.
