Alwaght- The Syrian army showcased American and Israeli weapons confiscated from militant and terrorist groups during the recent cleansing operation around Damascus.

Syrian national TV aired a short footage, showing shows anti-personnel landmines, RPG launcher and rounds, B9 shells, 120-mm, 80-mm, and 60-mm mortars, grenades and 23-mm machine-gun rounds that are mainly made in the US or by Israeli companies.

A statement by the army says the weapons were seized during an attack in the Khan al-Shih near capital Damascus.

Syrian government has always provided evidence that the Israeli regime and its western allies are supporting the terrorist and militant groups fighting inside the Arab country.

On April 28, Syrian officials and locals confiscated a vehicle loaded with Israeli-manufactured weapons bound for the ISIS terrorists in the Arab country’s southern province of Suwayda.

The vehicle, which was coming from eastern Dara’a Province, was heading to the eastern Badiya desert.

Israel has also been treating the wounded militants from Syria in its medical centers and hospitals. Syrian sources have frequently reported that, after receiving treatment at the Israeli hospitals, the militants return to Syria to continue their acts of sabotage and terror.
