Alwaght- Saudi jets raided residential areas in different parts of Yemen killing 20 people and injuring many others on Wednesday.
The Saudi air force bombarded the Shan district in northwestern Yemen killing 16 people, mostly women and children, al-Masirah TV reported.
Four other people were also killed when the Saudi jet attacked al-Rawda village in Sanaa province leaving many others wounded.
Hajjah city, northwest of Sanaa, was also bombarded in another attack with no immediate report on possible casualties.
Saudi military also injured seven other people in a separate attack on courthouse in Yemen’s northwestern province of Amran.
In another incident a Saudi apache crashed in Najran city, south of the country, local activists say.
The military chopper was returning to its base after completing an air strike on Yemen when it crashed near the provincial capital.
Ansarullah forces, targeted by the chopper, reported the crash but did not specify whether they had shot it down or it was an accident.
Some different local activists and Yemeni sources have reported the crash but the Saudi Defense Ministry declined to formally confirm the crash.
Saudi Arabia started its air strikes against Yemeni people in late March 2015 in a bid to reinstall the Hadi government overthrown by Ansarullah opposition group. Over 10,000 people have been killed by Saudi fighters in the last 16 months.
According to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), more than three million Yemenis have been displaced due to the air strikes.
