Yemeni Forces Battle Saudi-Led Invaders, Retake Strategic Mountain in Taiz

Alwaght-Yemeni army and the popular committees have retaken the strategic mountain in Thubab district in Taiz province after chasing Saudi occupation troops from the area.
Military source in Taiz reported that the allied forces have managed to take control of Jabal al-Shabakah following fierce clashes with Saudi-led forces who are waging brutal aggression against the Arab impoverished country.
The source told Yemen’s al-Masirah TV channel reported that a number of Saudi-led forces and mercenaries were killed during the clashes that also destroyed two Saudi vehicles in the coastal governorate.
The allied forces have also managed to fully secure Fardat Naham military base, east of the capital, Sanaa.
Meanwhile, the army and the committees have also cleansed Wadi Baran, a valley which lies south of Fardat Naham.
Elsewhere a number of Saudi troops were killed in qualitative operations carried out by the army and popular committee forces in Jizan province on Saturday.

The sniper units of the army and committees shot dead six Saudi soldiers in the direction of Midi desert, a military official said.

The official added that the army and committees forces targeted a Saudi troop carrier out in an ambush, killing and injuring a number of the enemy troops.
Meanwhile a Saudi airstrike targeted Zatar Souk in Nehm district of Sana’a province, leaving 20 civilians among dead and injured in an initial toll, a security official said on Saturday.

The hostile raid destroyed a super market, three shops and two cars, and caused damage to the nearby houses, the official added.

He condemned the continuation of the Saudi aggression in targeting the citizens and their property in an obvious violation of all international law and conventions.
Yemen has been under military attacks by Saudi Arabia since late March last year in a bid to bring the country’s fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a Riyadh ally, back to power.
Over 8,300 people, among nearly 2,300 children, have been killed and almost 17,000 others injured since the onset of the warfare. The strikes have also taken a heavy toll on the impoverished country’s facilities and infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, factories and mosques.
