ALWAGHT- According to the IRGC, ships are passing through the Strait of Hormuz following authorization and coordination with the IRGC Navy.
The IRGC announced Wednesday that 26 vessels — including oil tankers, container ships, and other commercial ships — transited through the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours with coordination and protection from the IRGC Navy. The IRGC emphasized that transit through the strait is only conducted after receiving permission and in coordination with its navy. The passage of 26 ships marks a major increase compared to transit rates since the start of US-Israeli aggression against Iran in late February, which prompted Tehran to impose restrictions on the strategic waterway.
