Pezeshkian, Putin Reaffirm Commitment to Deepening Iran-Russia Cooperation

ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed during a phone call on Wednesday to expand bilateral ties and boost coordination across a broad range of areas.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed strengthening bilateral ties during a phone call, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation across various fields.

Putin highlighted ongoing Tehran-Moscow cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty, saying ties remain strong despite regional developments. He also praised Iran’s steadfastness in the face of what he described as enemy aggression.

The Russian president said Moscow supports diplomatic efforts to reduce regional tensions and is ready to contribute to de-escalation initiatives. Both reaffirmed their commitment to deepening strategic cooperation between Iran and Russia.
