ALWAGHT- Esmaeil Baghaei, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, condemned the missile strike on Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab as a deliberate and atrocious war crime, dismissing any suggestion that the attack was merely an "unfortunate situation."
In a Friday post on X, Baghaei reshared remarks from a US congressional hearing that questioned the cost of the missiles fired in the strike, then wrote: “To put it plainly, how much did it cost American taxpayers for their Secretary of War to orchestrate the deliberate slaughter of innocent schoolchildren and their teachers at Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab on February 28? This was no ‘unfortunate situation’ — it was a premeditated, heinous war crime, and those responsible must be fully accountable and brought to justice.” Notably, the February 28 missile attack in Hormozgan Province killed 168 students and teachers during the opening hours of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.
