ALWAGHT- Iranian Embassy urges UK to hold US and Israel accountable for alleged war crimes instead of pursuing diplomacy.
In a statement on social media platform X, the Iranian Embassy in the United Kingdom responded to recent remarks by British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper regarding the Strait of Hormuz and the approaching end of the two-week ceasefire between Iran and the US.
Cooper had described this moment as "critical diplomatic." The Embassy urged the British government to set aside low-value statements and join global public opinion in holding the American and Israeli regimes accountable for alleged war crimes instead of pressuring for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
