Since dawn on Wednesday, 41 Palestinians have been killed in ongoing Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip. Airstrikes targeted homes, schools, and shelters for displaced families in Gaza City neighborhoods including al-Daraj, al-Zaytoun, al-Shati, and al-Shujaiya, as well as Nuseirat and al-Zawaida. Civil defense teams and civilians aiding the wounded were also struck, while buildings near the Islamic University and al-Qassam Mosque were damaged or set ablaze.
The attacks caused widespread destruction, including the demolition of an entire residential block in Tal al-Hawa and shelling in Khan Younis. Hospitals and medical centers, including Al-Awda and Nasser Medical Complex, reported receiving multiple casualties, with many wounded in addition to those killed. Critical infrastructure, such as water trucks and displacement tents, was also targeted, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
Since the start of the conflict on October 7, 2023, the death toll in Gaza has reached 66,148, with 168,716 wounded. Among the victims are 2,580 killed in aid-related attacks and 455 who died due to famine, highlighting the sustained and devastating impact of the ongoing Israeli offensive on civilians.
