A congratulatory message from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was shared on the Telegram page of the Iranian Embassy in Dushanbe, in which he wished Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon and the people of Tajikistan health, happiness, and success in the new year, according to the Asia-Plus news agency.
Pezeshkian emphasized that spring symbolizes renewal and hope for a brighter future. He also expressed his optimism about strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan, hoping for the continued development of bilateral relations in areas such as the economy, culture, and science.
Meanwhile, on March 17, 2025, a Nowruz celebration took place at Persepolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site in southern Iran, with ambassadors from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan joining the festivities to honor the ancient Persian New Year.
