ALWAGHT- Authorities of the Israeli regime in occupied Al-Quds have set up emergency water distribution stations following a technical failure that left over 200,000 settlers without access to water.
A malfunction at the primary water distribution station in Al-Quds has disrupted the water supply, affecting thousands.
The Gihon Company announced in its latest statement that the issue is expected to persist until at least the end of the week.
This disruption comes amid a series of water outages across Israeli-occupied territories in recent months. The CEO of the Zionist regime’s Mekorot company emphasized in an interview the need to prepare for various emergencies, including potential missile and cyberattacks targeting critical infrastructure.
Israeli news outlet Defense highlighted the adverse effects of cyberattacks on desalination plants and water distribution networks. The report underscored that cybersecurity monitoring of these facilities remains a significant concern, as any disruptions could compromise water quality.
Recent intelligence suggests that enemies of the Israeli regime may exploit existing vulnerabilities, potentially causing irreparable damage. While some past incidents were downplayed or censored, the report urged a reassessment and revision of current policies.
Since the onset of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, hacker groups have increasingly targeted Israel’s water and electricity infrastructure.
