ALWAGHT- Yemen’s Armed Forces have reported successful drone strikes targeting Jaffa near Tel Aviv and Ashkelon in central occupied Palestinian territories as part of new operations against Israel.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces, announced on Friday that the forces had conducted two drone operations targeting Ashkelon and Jaffa, successfully hitting their objectives after evading Israeli interception systems.
He also revealed a joint operation with Iraq’s Islamic Resistance, a coalition of anti-terror fighters, which targeted key sites in southern occupied Palestine using multiple drones. The statement confirmed the operations’ success and pledged to continue strikes against Israel until the aggression ceases and the Gaza siege is lifted.
Earlier in the week, Yemen’s forces carried out similar operations against Tel Aviv and Ashkelon using drones that precisely hit their designated targets. These attacks are part of Yemen’s ongoing retaliatory strikes against Israeli strategic targets and ships, initiated last October when Israel intensified its siege and launched a genocidal war on Gaza. The Israeli military campaign has so far claimed the lives of nearly 44,900 Palestinians, primarily women and children.
In solidarity with Gaza, thousands of Yemenis gathered on Friday at Sanaa’s al-Sabeen Square, holding pro-Palestinian demonstrations. They chanted slogans such as “We stand steadfastly by the people of Gaza” and “We confront the Zionist-American project,” expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
