ALWAGHT- The Yemeni Armed Forces launched four ballistic missiles on Wednesday, targeting Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and locations where Saudi forces were stationed.
The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) said on Wednesday that they had struck King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile, claiming a direct hit. YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree also reported that three missiles targeted Saudi troop concentrations in Ras al-Arah and al-Mudarabah in Yemen, causing fatalities and injuries among personnel and damaging several military vehicles.
Saree said a separate operation launched on Tuesday evening targeted Aramco facilities in Dhahran, King Khalid International Airport and an Aramco refinery in Riyadh. According to the spokesperson, the operation involved multiple ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones, and further attacks on Saudi airports and oil infrastructure were expected in the coming days.
Saudi Arabia’s Energy Ministry reported a limited fire at an Aramco administrative building in Dhahran, with no injuries. Meanwhile, the Saudi Press Agency said falling debris from an intercepted cruise missile injured four people in Riyadh. Saree urged shipping companies, civilians and workers at the targeted sites to evacuate, warning of further operations.
