Head of UN Nuclear Agency to Visit Iran Soon

ALWAGHT- A spokesperson announced that Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, will participate in an upcoming international nuclear conference hosted by Iran in the coming days.

The spokesperson for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced on Tuesday that the head of the UN nuclear agency will be visiting the central city of Isfahan to participate in Iran’s inaugural Conference on Nuclear Science and Technologies.

Behrouz Kamalvandi highlighted that Grossi will engage in consultations with various Iranian officials on the sidelines of the event.

The nuclear conference in Isfahan is scheduled for May 6-8 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.

In February, Head of the AEOI Mohammad Eslami praised the increasing coordination between Iran and the IAEA, expressing optimism that the collaborative efforts would continue to empower Iran in overcoming challenges to its nuclear industry posed by adversaries.
