Protests Outside British Embassy in Tehran at Israeli Crimes in Gaza

Monday 25 March 2024
Protests Outside British Embassy in Tehran at Israeli Crimes in Gaza

Alwaght- Iranians have gathered outside the British embassy in Tehran on Sunday night, condemning the ongoing Israeli crimes against Gaza and violations in Shifa Hospital.

People from all walks of life joined the protest and called for the international community to check the Israeli crimes against civilians in Gaza.

The protestors condemned the Western leeway for Israeli regime to continue its genocidal war on Gaza.

The main condemned countries were the US and Britain, which are supplying weapons to the Israeli regime and protecting its interests in the Red Sea while Yemen is imposing a blockade on its ships and ports.

Demonstrators chanted "down with Israel" "down with America", and "down with England."

The protests were sparked by reports of raping and killing Palestinian women seeking shelter in Shifa Hospital by the Israeli troops.

On Sunday, a Palestinian woman who was trapped in a building near Shifa Hospital for six days told Aljazeera that Israeli forces raped, kidnapped, executed women, and pulled dead bodies from under the rubble to unleash their dogs on them during their ongoing raid on the hospital.

Thousandsof Palestinians are taking shelter in the key Gaza hospital to stay safe from Israeli bombardment, but since a week ago, Israeli forces have been imposing a siege on the hospital.

International efforts for a ceasefire have so far failed as the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu insists on release of Israeli prisoners held by Hamas while not accepting the resistance movement's conditions for a truce that include stopping the war, lifting the siege, and allowing food and medicine into the enclave.
