Alwaght- The enemies of Iranian people seek to strip Iranians of hope in the future and their confidence in their own capabilities and potentials, said commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) General Salami.
He made the comments during a opening ceremony of a fair celebrating sports achievements of the IRGC.
"Today, if you go to the world of the minds of the designers, politicians, and high-ranking commanders of the enemy and read their minds and extract and write it down in the form of data on paper, you will see that they say that all the focus should be on Iran and and derailing it from its perseverance," he added
"The purpose of the enemy’s frustration project is to prevent us from standing and persevering. In the way of resistance against the enemy, one should not be tired and afraid, and one should not be afraid of the controversy and uproar of the enemies," he went on.
He said that stirring noisy controversies against Iran are characteristic of the Israelis and Americans, and "the weaker they are, the more uproar and propaganda they make."
He added that a resistant state can defeat the plotters and this is possible through perseverance.
He enumerated the characteristics of a real mujahed in the way of God, saying that they should equip themselves with the three elements of readiness, physical education, and science and belief.
He added that readiness to defend the country and make progress are possible through scientific development and belief in the path one is moving in.
He cited the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli regime aggression as an example of resistance, saying: Today, the Palestinian mujahed (fighter) in Gaza engages with the Merkava tank with the most primitive anti-tank weapon called Yasin-105 from zero distance, which is a distance of less than 100 meters." He held that this resistance is driven by hope and confidence.
