Islamic Revolution saved Iran from Moral, Political Decline: Leader

Alwaght- The enemies are far from capable of excluding Iran from regional and global equations, said commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) General Hussein Salami.

He was addressing a ceremony in Bushehr province south of Iran where he opened new projects.

The top general said that Iran is now so powerful that it has a word to say almost in every key international and regional issue.

He said that Tehran owes its power to the Islamic Revolution of 1979 that abolished the pro-Western monarchy and installed the Islamic Republic.

Iran last week celebrated 45th anniversary of its revolutionary, with people as before taking to the streets and celebrating.

The IRGC commander referred to the achievements of Iran post-revolution, saying that the country has “reached the high summits.”

Referring to the Iranian “key role” in the region, General Salami held “the enemy Cannot remove Iran from the regional and global equations.

He added that interventionist powers want Iran out of the game, giving Israeli regime a leeway to commit genocide in Gaza, but Iran is improving its power day by day and imposing new realities on the imperialism.

“For 45 years, the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran have been trying to discourage the people from the Revolution and its goals with their sanctions and evil actions, but the people showed their unity and national power to the world with their unity in the 22nd Bahman March (the day of victory of Islamic Revolution). They gave a strong punch to the mouths of enemies of Islam,” he was quoted as saying by Tasnim news agency.

He furthermore lauded the internal achievements in economy, urban construction, engineering, power generation and grids, railways, medicine, and defense, linking all to the spirit of self-reliance the Islamic Revolution created among the Iranians.

Especially in recent decade, Iran rose as a new and unignorable power actor, beating the conspiring West almost in any area of confrontation.

In Syria war in which the West had a clear pro-terrorism role, Tehran along with Moscow and other allies defeated ISIS terrorist organization and liberated Syrian territories.

In other cases, analysts agree that Iran is managing well and beating the US-led West.
