Palestinians in Quds Hold Protest against Israeli Regime Sacrilegious Acts
Alwaght -Thousands of Muslim worshipers took to  the streets in occupied Quds  after Friday prayers at the holy al-Aqsa Mosque to protest Israeli regime’s sacrilegious acts and Jewish settlers' attempts to disgrace the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (PBUH).

The peaceful protestor chanted such slogans as “Oh coward Israelis! Our prophet can never be disgraced.”

Tension flared up in Occupied Quds after Israeli Jewish fanatics on Thursday stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque and insulted Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on their way out via the Silsila Gate, under heavy protection by Israeli regime troops.

The non-violent Muslim congregation chanted “Allah the Greatest” after noon prayers at al-Aqsa, where at least some 30,000 worshipers gathered to perform Friday prayers.
Israeli regime forces had cordoned off the gates and main entrances to the holy site but reportedly backtracked shortly after huge numbers of protesters took to the streets.
The Israeli regime is engaged in illegal attempts to change the demographic makeup of al-Quds over the past decades by constructing illegal settlements, destroying historical sites and expelling the local Palestinian population.
The al-Aqsa Mosque compound, located in the Israeli-occupied Old City of al-Quds, is a flashpoint Islamic site. The mosque is Islam’s third holiest site after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina.
