Alwaght-Iraqi army has declared that the country’s city of Mosul currently held by ISIS terrorist group will soon be liberated.
Reports say Iraqi military jets have dropped leaflets over Mosul, informing the people that Takfiri terrorists will soon be forced out of the northern city.
"The solution, with God's help, is close," Lebanon’s al-Manar news website quoted the leaflets, issued in the name of the Iraqi army, as saying on Saturday.
"Your armed forces are at the gate, cooperate with them," the leaflets said, adding that a new radio station, Mosul FM, would soon be on the air. The leaflets also urged residents to carry a portable radio with them at all times so that they could receive information on the looming battle for Mosul.
ISIS started its campaign of terror in Iraq in early June 2014. The heavily-armed terrorists took control of Mosul before sweeping through parts of the country’s heartland.
Iraqi soldiers, police units, Kurdish forces, and Shiite and Sunni volunteers have been fighting to drive the terrorists out of the areas they have seized.
The ISIS terrorists, who currently control parts of Syria, Iraq, and Libya, have carried out atrocious crimes in the countries, including mass executions and beheading of people.
