ALWAGHT- An adviser to the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps stated that Iran's recent retaliatory missile strike on Israeli military targets has destroyed a significant number of the Zionist regime's F-35 fighter jets.
Speaking at a conference in Tehran on Wednesday, Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabbari stated that 90 percent of the missiles fired by Iran during the True Promise II operation on October 1 successfully struck their targets. He explained that the IRGC simultaneously carried out cyber and electronic warfare operations against Israel’s air defense systems, allowing the missiles to penetrate and hit their intended targets.
The general further noted that Iran’s ballistic missiles had successfully destroyed key Israeli military bases and F-35 fighter jet hangars, resulting in the destruction of a significant number of these aircraft.
Jabbari emphasized that the Israeli regime and the US were caught off guard by the attack, despite their use of advanced defense systems.
The missile strike on October 1 was in retaliation for the Israeli assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC General Abbas Nilforoushan. Iran launched around 200 ballistic missiles targeting Israeli military and intelligence bases across the occupied Palestinian territories.
Although Israel has threatened retaliation, Iranian officials have warned that any Israeli response would be met with a harsh, proportional, and calculated counterattack.
