ALWAGHT- The Yemeni Ansarullah movement condemned the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas political bureau, as a breach of international laws.
In a statement on Wednesday, Ansarullah condemned the "assassination crime" of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, referring to him as a brother. The Yemeni movement denounced the act as a "terrorist crime in violation of international laws."
The IRGC reported on Wednesday morning that Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards were killed when their residence in Tehran was struck in an attack. They added that the incident is under investigation, with results to be released later in the day.
Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
