Alwaght- Hezbollah stated on Monday that it carried out a missile attack on an Israeli regime military base earlier in the day.
Lebanese resistance movement said in a statement that it had targeted the “Al-Baghdadi” military base in the northern Israeli-occupied territories early on Monday "in support of the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza", according to Al Manar TV.
Hezbollah also announced on Sunday night that it targeted Israeli forces at the Al-Marj base with Burkan missiles. The same night, the Israeli military targeted areas around the town of Al-Dhahira, in southern Lebanon.
Fighting has intensified between Hezbollah and Israel at Lebanon’s southern border in the past weeks as the regime continues its brutal attacks against Palestinians in Gaza.
Hezbollah has time and again said that the fighting will continue until the Israeli regime stops its bloodshed against Gazans.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Tel Aviv would increase its strikes on Hezbollah in response to its daily attacks on northern Israel, including amid a potential temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, according to Times of Israel.
"We are planning to increase the firepower against Hezbollah, which is unable to find replacements for the commanders we are eliminating,” Gallant said Sunday during a visit to the IDF Northern Command headquarters in Safed.
The movement's Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah had earlier this month warned that if Israeli regime waged a full-scale war on Lebanon, not only the displaced Israelis on the border with Lebanon will not return home, but also Tel Aviv should expect 2 million Israelis displaced.
Many analysts, even inside Israeli regime, warn that Hezbollah is yet to use its powerful and pinpoint-accuracy missiles and should the Israeli regime start a war on Lebanon, Hezbollah’s strikes will be unprecedentedly painful and game-changing.
