ALWAGHT- MSF says Gaza is being pushed toward collapse as aid restrictions, the “Yellow Line,” and the destruction of healthcare infrastructure deepen the humanitarian crisis amid the ongoing genocide.
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) says Gaza’s humanitarian crisis is worsening as violence, restrictions on essential supplies, and the destruction of healthcare infrastructure threaten Palestinians’ ability to survive. The organization urged governments to take immediate action.
MSF said the expanding “Yellow Line” is further restricting Palestinians’ movement, with military positions, demolitions, and shifting boundaries squeezing people into increasingly limited areas. Its teams have continued treating people wounded near the line, while more than 1,200 violent trauma cases were recorded in June and July.
Overcrowding, shortages of clean water and sanitation, and limited healthcare access are also fueling the spread of disease. MSF reported treating more than 11,000 skin disease cases and 1,500 chickenpox cases in June and July, while shortages of fuel and spare parts are disrupting hospitals, ambulances, and water systems.
The World Health Organization said no hospital in Gaza is fully functional and that medical supplies face lengthy approval delays. MSF also warned of escalating displacement and violence in the West Bank, calling on governments to stop the destruction, killing, and deprivation of Palestinians.
