ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Tehran will draw on its full diplomatic resources to protect the country’s interests while bolstering its standing and national security.
In a Monday Instagram post, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi elaborated on Iran’s diplomatic efforts following his meeting a day earlier with ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions, and representatives of international organizations stationed in Tehran. He emphasized that maintaining regular communication with foreign officials remains essential for presenting Iran’s positions clearly and ensuring that international counterparts receive a reliable understanding of developments.
Araghchi said Iran would continue using diplomatic consultations to explain its policies, address misunderstandings, and communicate its views directly to the international community. He stressed that Tehran’s diplomatic engagement would remain focused on protecting the country’s interests while responding to evolving regional and international circumstances.
The foreign minister further reaffirmed that Iran’s diplomacy would proceed in line with the country’s fundamental principles and national priorities. He said decisions and diplomatic initiatives would be shaped by Iran’s interests and strategic considerations, with the country’s national security and standing remaining central to its approach.
