ALWAGHT- A senior Iranian military commander warned that any hostile attempt to land forces on Iran’s coastlines would turn the country’s shores into “hell” for invading troops.
Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, the Iranian Army's Chief of Staff and Deputy Coordinator, said the country's Armed Forces, backed by the Iranian people, are fully prepared to repel any invasion. He warned that any hostile attempt to land troops on Iran’s coastlines would turn the country’s shores into “hell” for invading forces.
Sayyari said the Iranian Army, the IRGC, law enforcement forces, the Basij, and the public form a united defense, arguing that this strength deters any enemy from contemplating a landing on Iranian soil. He described Iran’s territory as the “red line” of the nation and vowed it would never be surrendered.
The senior commander also accused US President Donald Trump of making false claims about destroying Iran’s naval forces and attempting to justify a military presence along the Makran coast, the Strait of Hormuz, and Kharg Island. He asserted that such objectives had failed and challenged any adversary to test Iran’s defenses.
While acknowledging that Iran trails its rivals in some areas of technology, Sayyari said the country relies on indigenous capabilities and the patriotism of its people. He urged Iranians to ignore what he described as intimidation by the United States, stressing that the Armed Forces remain ready to defend the nation’s borders.
