ALWAGHT- In solidarity with Palestinians facing severe aggression in Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces fired a hypersonic ballistic missile at Israel’s main airport.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces, announced that a "Palestine 2" hypersonic missile targeted Ben Gurion International Airport in response to what he described as a genocide by Israeli forces against Palestinians in Gaza. He claimed the operation successfully caused widespread panic among Israelis and halted airport operations, emphasizing Yemen’s ongoing commitment to supporting Palestinians and opposing foreign domination in the Arab and Islamic world.
The missile strike triggered warning sirens across parts of Israel early Tuesday, with Israeli military forces reporting that they intercepted a missile launched from Yemen. This attack followed a prior Yemeni operation involving five drones targeting strategic sites deep inside Israel. Yemen’s Ansarullah warned that retaliatory actions will intensify if Israeli attacks on Yemen continue.
Yemen’s military interventions come amid the broader conflict sparked by the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm launched by Gaza’s resistance fighters in response to Israel’s prolonged campaign of violence against Palestinians. The ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza has resulted in the deaths of over 59,000 Palestinians, many of them women and children, according to reports.
