Yemeni Tribesmen Shell Saudi Najran

Yemeni Tribesmen Shell Saudi Najran

Alwaght- On Tuesday, Yemeni tribesmen have shell Saudi Arabian border town, Najran, prompting retaliation threat.

This attack by 122mm Katyusha rockets fired from mountain locations at the border.

According to local media, several Saudi soldiers were killed in the attack on a Saudi military post near the town .

The Najran attack was the most serious attack by the Yemenis on Saudi Arabia, since the beginning of Saudi-led heavy aggression on Yemen, as MiddleEastEye reported.

Accordingly, eleven flights have been suspended in southeastern Saudi Arabia and schools reportedly closed in the southern Najran region following the attack .

During last month-and-a-half of criminally bombing Yemen’s infrastructure by Saudi-led coalition and consequently killing over 1256 civilians mostly children can be a good reason to justify the Najran attack.

Riyadh launched its military aggression against its southern neighbor on March 26 - without a United Nations mandate - in a bid to undermine Yemen’s Ansarullah movement and to restore power to Hadi, a staunch ally of Saudis.
