US Airsteikes Kill 10 Syrian Civilians

US Airsteikes Kill 10 Syrian Civilians

Alwaght- US-led coalition's airstrikes against targets in Syria had cost the lives of at least 10 civilians.

The US-led forces attacked regions in the Syrian northern province of Aleppo claiming to be fighting the ISIS terrorist group.

Based on reports by local sources, the aerial attack targeted the town of Maskanah, located 100 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital city of Aleppo where ten people were killed and several others injured.

The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) also reported that US-led military aircraft had launched a series of attacks against the villages of Qabtan al-Jabal, Kafr Hamrah and Yaqid al-Adas in the northwestern suburbs of Aleppo.

The Britain-based monitoring group, however, did not provide any figures for possible casualties.

The development came only two days after 30 people, including six women and eight children, lost their lives when coalition fighter jets pounded Matab al-Borashid village near Syria’s ISIS-held northern city of al-Raqqah.

The US-led coalition has been conducting airstrikes against what are said to be ISIS terrorists inside Syria since September 2014 without any authorization from the Damascus government or a UN mandate.

The coalition has repeatedly been accused of targeting and killing civilians. It has also been incapable of destroying ISIS.
