Israeli Forces Kill 15-year-old Palestinian as US Tries to Stop Intifada

Alwaght- Israeli regime forces on Sunday killed a 15-year-old Palestinian after he allegedly attempted to stab an Israeli soldier near Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Witnesses say that Israeli troops stationed at the Beita checkpoint fired more than 10 rounds at a young Palestinian who was carrying a knife and walking towards them.
The teenager was identified to Ma'an as Qusay Diab Abu al-Rub, 15, from the village of Qabatiya near Jenin.
Palestinian Red Crescent spokeswoman Errab Foqoha said a Red Crescent ambulance happened to be nearby at the time of the shooting, but was prevented from accessing the scene.
At least 183 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers since the start of the Third Palestinian Intifada or uprising in the occupied territories in October.
Tensions heightened in the Palestinian territories in August 2015, when the Israeli regime imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian Muslim worshipers into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds.  The recent al-Quds Intifada was also  ignited to end the temporal and spatial division of al-Aqsa Mosque, the Israeli settlement construction, the Judaism schemes, and Israeli regimes brutal attacks on Palestinians.
Meanwhile US secretary of state John Kerry on Sunday met Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas in Amman, Jordan on Sunday in an effort to restart the so-called peace talks and stop the escalating Palestinian Intifada.
This is considered Kerry's second visit to the region during the current intifada. He has tabled, during his first regional tour, ideas allowing the Jewish settlers to enter the Aqsa Mosque and proposing the installation of security cameras in its courtyards in a desperate attempt to ease the tension on the ground.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon last month said that it was “human nature” for Palestinians to react violently to Israel’s decades-long military occupation, and urged change in Israel’s policies in the occupied area.
