Saudi Troops in Syria Amount to War Declaration: Russian MP

Alwaght- A senior Russian lawmaker has warned the Saudi regime that any military ground operation in Syria without the Damascus government's approval is tantamount to a declaration of war.
Pavel Krasheninnikov, the head of the State Duma (Russian Parliament) committee, told Interfax on Friday that "Syria has to give official consent, to invite, otherwise it will be a war. The same applies to international law.”
On Thursday, Saudi Arabia said it is prepared to deploy ground troops to Syria to reportedly confront ISIS terrorist group if US-led coalition leaders agree to the offer.
"Today, the Saudi kingdom announced its readiness to participate with ground troops with the US-led coalition against ISIS, because we now have the experience in Yemen," Brigadier General Ahmed Asseri was quoted as saying.
Krasheninnikov said that by promising a ground operation in Syria Riyadh now "intends to send troops to the territory of a sovereign state essentially without declaring a war."
US State Department spokesman John Kirby also welcomed the Saudi decision.
Saudi Arabia is a member of the so-called US-led coalition that has been conducting air raids against what are claimed to be the ISIS terrorists inside Syria without any authorization from the Syrian government or a UN mandate since September 2014.
The  Saudi regime claims it wants to send troops to fight ISIS in Syria while the Damascus government says it has evidence that the United States along with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and the Israeli regime for backing terrorist groups in the country since 2011.
The Saudi is also currently entangled in Yemeni war quagmire thus putting to doubt its ability to engage its troops directly in another conflict.
