Alwaght- including 200 elderly citizens from the Gaza Strip was able to attend the Friday Khutba (sermon) and perform the prayers at the Aqsa Mosque.
Meanwhile, the Israeli regime forces were deployed in and around the Old City of Quds and in the vicinity of the Mosque, where they embarked on searching young men.
During his Friday Khutba, Sheikh Ismail Nawahdah called on the Arabs and Muslims to assume their responsibilities towards al Quds and move to liberate the city from the occupation.
Sheikh Nawahdah warned of the Judaization measures taken by the Israeli occupation authorities against the historical, religious, and cultural sites in al Quds, and called on the Muslims and Arabs to support the resistance of its people.
In another context, Palestinian young men organized in the afternoon today a protest in the Aqsa Mosque's courtyards to denounce the detention of Palestinian hunger-striking journalist Mohamed al-Qeiq as well as the bodies of some al Quds martyrs.
