ALWAGHT- According to Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Israel is retaliating for its loss in the recent 12-day war through economic pressure and psychological operations targeting Iranians.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf condemned Israel’s economic and psychological warfare against Iran, describing it as revenge against a resilient Iranian people. He mourned the 40th day since the martyrdom of high-ranking military officials, scientists, and civilians during the June 13-25 conflict, accusing Israel of indiscriminate assassinations and warning that the regime’s actions in Gaza threaten regional and global stability.
Qalibaf called on Iran’s economic leaders to step up in response to these challenges and condemned a recent terrorist attack by Jaish al-Adl militants on a courthouse in Zahedan, which targeted innocent civilians, including women and children. He framed the attack as retaliation against Iranian unity and resistance to foreign aggression.
Highlighting Iran’s commitment to security, Qalibaf affirmed that Iranian forces decisively responded to the Zahedan attack, killing three terrorists. He noted that terrorist activities in southeastern provinces, often linked to foreign intelligence agencies, remain a serious threat to the country’s safety and stability.
