ALWAGHT- Ansarullah Chief Abdul-Malik al-Houthi commemorates September 21 revolution, highlights Yemen’s sovereignty and support for Palestine.
Ansarullah leader Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi marked the 12th anniversary of Yemen’s September 21 Revolution, saying it restored the country’s independence, sovereignty, and national dignity. He described the movement as a rejection of foreign influence and said Yemen’s political and security institutions had previously been heavily shaped by external powers.
Al-Houthi also addressed the Saudi-led war on Yemen, accusing Saudi Arabia, the United States, Britain, and Israel of seeking to restore foreign control over the country. He criticized attacks on civilian infrastructure and said the conflict and restrictions had caused severe humanitarian and economic suffering.
On Palestine, al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s support for the Palestinian cause, describing it as a moral, religious, and national responsibility. He said Yemen would continue supporting Palestinians and confronting Israeli actions, adding that Sanaa would maintain its position even amid regional pressure.
He further defended Yemen’s right to independence, control of its resources, and unrestricted trade and movement, saying its demands centered on ending military operations and lifting the blockade. He called on Yemenis to strengthen state institutions, maintain mobilization, and improve the country’s military and security capabilities.
