ALWAGHT- A senior Iranian military commander warned on Sunday that any further US "aggression, bullying, or savagery" would trigger a "decisive and devastating response" and come at an even greater cost.
Major General Ali Abdollahi, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command, said the Iranian Armed Forces would devote all their capabilities to strengthening unity between the military, the public, and government institutions to safeguard national interests, protect citizens' rights, and preserve national security. He also pledged allegiance to the new Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
Abdollahi warned that any further US "bullying, expansionism and savagery" would be met with a "decisive and devastating response," saying Iran's Armed Forces would impose heavier costs on Washington if hostilities continued.
He also claimed Iran's adversaries were seeking to create divisions between the public and officials after suffering military setbacks, stressing that national unity was essential to defeating those efforts. Abdollahi added that Iran's defensive capabilities provide the foundation for the country's security and stability.
