ALWAGHT- The IRGC said it launched a coordinated missile and drone strike on a US base in Azraq, Jordan, during the 20th wave of Operation Nasr 2, claiming the attack destroyed multiple US fighter jets and other aircraft.
The IRGC said it carried out a coordinated missile and drone strike on the US base in Azraq, Jordan, as part of the 20th wave of Operation Nasr 2, claiming it destroyed at least two US fighter jets and three other aircraft in retaliation for overnight US attacks on Iran.
In a statement, the IRGC accused the United States of targeting civilian infrastructure and killing civilians to conceal what it described as military setbacks. It also urged the people and armed forces of Jordan to oppose the US military presence in the country.
Iranian state media reported that Tehran had launched missile and drone attacks on multiple US bases across the region, while Iranian officials said the strikes were aimed solely at US military facilities in response to repeated attacks on Iranian territory.
The IRGC also claimed responsibility for strikes on US targets in Kuwait and Bahrain, including military facilities and communications infrastructure, and warned that countries hosting US forces could face retaliatory attacks if their territory is used to launch operations against Iran.
