Additionally, Saudi-funded Al Arabiya news network cited an Iraqi security source confirming that a drone belonging to Baker Hughes, an oil company, was targeted in Basra province. World markets instable
As aggression against Iran unfolds, instability rattles the global markets. On Friday, Brent oil nearly touched $88 per barrel for the first time since April 29, 2024.
Also, Maersk, the world’s largest maritime transportation company, said it suspended its services in 7 Persian Gulf Arab countries as tensions escalated in the region.
As an additional consequence of war against Iran, French media reported that the price of jet fuel has increased 70 percent over a week, recording a four-year high. 40 percent of jet fuel to Europe is supplied through Strait of Hormuz, where navigation has fallen to zero over the past five days.
American sources confirm Iranian attacks
A look at American outlet CNN, based on satellite imagery, indicates that Iran has destroyed an advanced US radar system belonging to the THAAD missile defense system stationed at an airbase in Jordan.
In another report, CNN provided its first field coverage from inside Iran, stating that despite the ongoing conflict, stores remain open and well-stocked, with no signs of fear apparent anywhere.
This calm demonstrates the strength and resilience of the Iranian people in their pursuit of this decisive war aimed at establishing the future security order in the region and eradicating the cancerous Israeli regime, while permanently expelling the US military from the region. Here, the Axis of Resistance is pursuing a strategy of protracted warfare and regional efforts to liberate all occupied territories from the Israeli occupation. This will either force the inhabitants of the occupied lands to flee or lead to their complete annihilation at the hands of the Resistance forces.
