Palestinians Detained by Israeli Forces in West Bank Operations

ALWAGHT- Raids by Israeli forces in several West Bank towns and al-Quds led to the detention of multiple Palestinians and resulted in clashes.

Israeli forces conducted widespread raids and detentions across the West Bank and al-Quds on Saturday. The operations targeted numerous towns and neighborhoods, with soldiers storming homes and making arrests. Confrontations erupted in several locations as troops used tear gas, sonic grenades, and field interrogations.

The raids spanned multiple governorates. In the northern West Bank, arrests were reported in Nablus, Beit Ummar, Tulkarm, Anabta, and Attil. In the central region, forces raided Beit Liqya and Qibya. In the south, the towns of Dura and Halhul in al-Khalil were targeted, and military checkpoints were established. In  al-Quds, raids occurred in Anata, Kafr Aqab, and the Qalandia camp, where at least one person was detained.

This follows another wave of arrests two days prior, during which at least 14 Palestinians were detained. The majority of those arrests occurred in the al-Khalil governorate, where Israeli troops raided homes and temporarily occupied a house as an interrogation outpost. Additional detentions were reported in Nablus, Qalqilya, and Beit Lahm.
