ALWAGHT- Iranian Lawmakers: Attacks on Leader equivalent to war against Islam.
In response to Donald Trump's threats against Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, members of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission issued a statement on Tuesday, warning that any attack against him is equivalent to declaring war on the entire Islamic world.
The commission emphasized that after suffering repeated defeats from the Iranian nation in the 12-day war and recent ISIS-style terrorist activities, Trump has threatened Ayatollah Khamenei.
They further stated that under such circumstances, any US interests worldwide will be targeted by fighters of Islam, with a specific focus on avenging the death of former IRGC Quds Force Commander Martyr Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and thousands of innocent people in Iran.
