The Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter has released a statement denouncing all forms of terrorism, foreign-backed attacks on Iran, and the resulting harm to civilians, including children, law enforcement forces, and damage to public and private properties. The group expressed deep concern about these incidents and renewed its unwavering solidarity with the people and government of Iran.
Furthermore, the Group of Friends called upon the international community, the United Nations, and its secretary-general to openly condemn any actions against the UN Charter. Comprising 17 countries such as Iran, Russia, China, Algeria, Cuba, Venezuela, Palestine, Nicaragua, Uganda, Belarus, Bolivia, Zimbabwe, and others, this group reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the principles of the United Nations Charter.
