ALWAGHT- According to the Judiciary, a Mossad agent convicted of espionage for the Israeli regime was executed in Iran after all legal procedures were completed.
Aqil Keshavarz was executed on Saturday morning after being convicted of espionage and collaboration with Israel, following the completion of legal proceedings and final confirmation of his death sentence by Iran’s Supreme Court.
He was arrested in spring 2025 in Urmia after being observed filming a military headquarters. Investigations uncovered communications with contacts linked to Israel, documents and coded notes related to security institutions, and evidence of extensive cooperation with Israeli military and intelligence services, including the Mossad.
According to judicial authorities, Keshavarz carried out more than 200 intelligence missions, provided information on sensitive military and security sites across multiple cities, and received payment via cryptocurrency. The court cited confessions, technical reports, and documentary evidence in sentencing him to death on charges of espionage and intelligence cooperation with Israel.
